AFTER 30 YEARS AND THOUSANDS OF HOURS OF HIGH-SPEED PRINTING, POLLARD BANKNOTE REPLACES A LOVED PRIME SYSTEM WITH A NEW HIGH ENERGY EFFICIENT PRIME OPTIMUM UV SERIES SYSTEM

Pollard Banknote partnered with Prime UV-IR to engineer a custom designed UV Curing solution to meet Pollard’s current production requirements. After 30 years of demanding production requirements, Pollard Banknote choose to replace their much loved Prime UV System with a new customized 4 unit Prime OPTIMUM UV Series air-cooled curing system including 6 additional outer housings on their Comco 14 color flexo press. The additional outer UV housings gives Pollard the ability to very quickly and easily move UV inner cassettes between print stations to exactly match the UV curing requirements of each print job. The entire UV system includes a custom ”switching station” which allows power to be easily switched between print stations via a few quick disconnect electrical connectors and NOT needing to change anything else. Due to the UV system’s design and successful performance on press, Pollard purchased an additional 2 OPTIMUM UV Series System with 4 more additional housings allowing Pollard to increase their workload for customer specific work. The new very efficient Prime UV system replaced an existing Prime system originally installed on the Comco press in 1992!
