UV LAMP Systems

Prime UV-IR provides various UV ARC lamp solutions for every printing, coating, and converting application. All of Prime UV-IR's UV systems are custom designed to meet and exceed our customer's expectations. Prime UV-IR is able to supply lamp systems as small as a 6" single lamp system up to multi-lamp 118" UV systems, and everything in between. Prime UV-IR manufactures both air and water-cooled systems. All of Prime's UV ARC Lamp Systems use a finely focused elliptical shutter designed to ensure maximum UV penetration which allows our customers to achieve top processing speeds.

How it Works

Prime’s MINIMAX UV Series consists of air-cooled UV lamps used in web applications with widths of 6" - 40" and wattages from 300 - 600 watts per inch. Prime's innovative reflector geometry boosts UV energy to the substrate to assure full cure while reducing the energy required.

Prime’s OPTIMUM UV Series utilizes air-cooled UV lamps and is primarily used in web applications with widths ranging from 18" to 80" and wattages ranging from 300 to 600 watts per inch. Prime’s OPTIMUM UV Series is simple to use and easy to maintain.

Prime’s RADMAX UV Series is used in mid to wide web applications ranging from 40" to 120" and wattages ranging from 400 to 800 watts per inch. All of Prime’s RADMAX UV Series Curing Systems include Prime's Positive Pressure Air Filtration system which optimizes the performance of the UV system while maximizing the energy efficiency of the UV system.

WATER-cooled

Prime’s FLEXMAX UV Series is used primarily for flexible substrates that are heat-sensitive such as pressure-sensitive films and heat-shrinkable films. This system is available in widths from 18"- 71" and stepless wattages up to 600 wpi. Prime's stepless power minimizes energy consumption while ensuring proper UV output regardless of process speed.
