PRIME UV-IR HELPS CUSTOMER SAVE THOUSANDS ANNUALLY WITH IR-AK6 HYBRID DRYING SYSTEM

Facing low process speeds Webcor Packaging reached out to Prime UV-IR to create a solution which would allow them to substantially increase press speeds on their existing Wolverine 65” press running water-based inks. Prime UV-IR designed a customized IR-AK6 dryer (Infra-Red & High Velocity Air Impingement Hybrid Drying Technology) which allowed them to virtually double press line speeds. Prime’s IR-AK6 Hybrid Dryer enabled Webcor to eliminate the gas powered drying tunnel, saving them thousands of dollars annually, and to increase press speeds by close to 50%.
